We’re delighted to be contacting some headteachers and community group leaders this week to say we’re getting new laptops to them!

The team at Ecovibe got in touch with us before Christmas. They wanted to get involved and offered to support our campaign and get laptops to families to make sure more children can access online learning. These 8 new devices will be delivered in the next day or so with children quickly receiving them, all in the same vein of the Digital Access West Yorkshire motto ‘act fast, act local’.

We’re grateful to each and every individual person, group and business supporting us with time, donated devices and crowdfunding to get laptops to children.

As it stands today, we’ve raised over £7,000 with different funding efforts and already this week we’ve received over 80 devices that will be repurposed and allocated to their next owner. Every penny from fundraising goes towards new devices and some parts for refurbishing laptops. Every penny makes a difference towards helping others to get on(line) with what they need to do.

Thank you everyone, it’s one mighty team effort and we’re in awe of your efforts 🙏🏻
